Here, we conducted an interview of one of their clients and captured some key reasons why someone should choose our client over the competition - speaking on product excellence and superior customer service.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is not the only part of digital marketing, but it is a very key component. Social media can be leveraged as a tool to reach new audiences who weren't already following you or knew about what you offer to the market. 

Through our videos and photos, we help companies to capture the attention of new viewers, and then educate them about what the company does or offers. 

Call to action. A very key component that is often missed by media teams. A successful social media post or campaign must always have a call to action - an easy step for the customer to take to be further connected with the company and then a representative. 

We created graphics optimized for both posts and reels that provided a cohesive look and gave viewers the company's contact information at a quick glance. The content titles help viewers find information when they are browsing the main page.

LOGOS AND BRANDING

As in most startup companies, you often work with the resources you have - maybe a friend or family member. As the company grows, you can then allow for growth for more professional design and expertise. 

Desert Oasis expressed that their logo and branding was put together by inexperienced people they knew who could just do a basic job. Now, they wanted to do it right. Here's how we helped to modernize their logo. 

BEFORE

​Original logo concerns:
  • Text was not prominent enough. Landscaping was the largest text instead of the main company name - Desert Oasis.
  • The text speaks of a desert oasis but the visuals look like a tropical island.
  • The graphics are cut off at the top.
  • The gradient sky and the multiple water colors are hard to print for apparel, hats, etc. Having several colors is also an extra cost for anything printed. 

AFTER

New logo solutions:
  • ​More modern, sans-serif text was used. Desert Oasis is now the prominent text, and what they do (Landscaping) is secondary.
  • The visuals show the mountains of the city and the desert color. 
  • All of the graphics are in vector format and can be scaled correctly.
  • Colors were simplified for ease of printing. A specific color palette was chosen to be visible with both light or dark backgrounds. 
Several variations of the logo were made to accommodate different applications, printing methods, and possible backgrounds.

By using an updated color palette, we were able to stay close to the original color scheme desired by the client, but modifying it to be more modern and better fitted to prints, online, web, and social media. 

​Accent and complimentary colors are chosen for other graphics that are meant to accompany the logo in a variety of applications, providing flexibility and cohesion to the company's branding and graphic design. (See sample ad templates.)

Click on the comparisons on the right to see how we used a contrast checker to test the old colors with the new colors, showing that the new main colors were better balanced with white or black backgrounds/foregrounds.

Branding on products and merchandise is essential for companies to help advertise to new customers.

​Below, we created mock concepts for truck, hat, and shirt graphics, so that the design can be properly previewed before printing.
